A new toy crossover is likely to boost the Transformers franchise even further, according to a cryptic new message from the official LEGO Twitter account. "It's LEGO Optimus Prime time!" says the tweet, which features a video of the Autobot insignia changing into the LEGO logo before text appears. The crossover's release date is also revealed in the film, with the toy line slated to arrive in June of this year. Take a look at the following Tweet:While the Tweet doesn't give us a first peek at the future toy line (or its possible price), it does indicate that Optimus Prime will be at the centre of it. Optimus Prime has appeared in almost every Transformers story to date, including every live-action picture save Bumblebee, which was released in 2018. Although other legendary Transformers figures may receive the LEGO treatment in the future, it appears that Optimus Prime will be the sole option for fans and collectors for the time being.
